A CWA (Climbing Wall Association) certified Climbing Wall Instructor will facilitate this course. 

Participants will complete risk management for indoor climbing facilities, safety checks on climbing equipment, proficiency in tying safety knots, the importance of partner checks, how to manage a climber and rope, weight distribution and lowering of a climber with the use of the GriGri. 

For Ages 16 and up.

Certification will be provided after a retest which will take place a minimum of 24 hours after the Learn to Belay course is completed. 

CLIMB FIT

(Rock Wall Location) - Rock yourself into shape with climbing-themed workouts. Designed with new climbers in mind, this course is mostly held close to the ground. 
For Ages 15 and up.

Ladies Climbing Nights

Drop in to the RECC to climb during one of our ladies nights on the Kohltech Climbing Wall for ages 16+. Limited capacity. Register online to hold your spot.  

Drop-in fee applies for non-members & FREE for members!
